Your personal data is securely stored within our data infrastructure hosted on Supabase. Supabase utilizes industry-standard encryption and physical security measures to protect database records from unauthorized access, modification, or deletion.
While we implement robust safeguards to protect your personal information, no transmission over the internet or database storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
5. Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share information with third parties to facilitate your travel bookings (e.g. transport providers and hotels).
Payments: Trip deposits are paid directly through M-PESA (Lipa na M-PESA, Buy Goods, Till Number 5936766, CK TRAVEL & TOURS). The payment itself is processed by M-PESA, not by this website. We never ask for or store your M-PESA PIN, card numbers or bank credentials. We only store the M-PESA transaction code you give us, together with your booking details, to verify your deposit.
6. Cookies
Our website utilizes minimal cookies. We only use functional cookies necessary for site navigation and maintaining active sessions (e.g., keeping you logged into your member dashboard). We do not run intrusive tracking or advertising cookies.
When you reserve a trip online, your browser's local storage keeps your booking reference, a private booking token, the amounts and your traveller counts for up to 7 days, so you can come back and submit your M-PESA code from the same device. Your name, phone number and email are not kept there. Clearing your browser data removes it.
